After 8 months of strained construction, the first stage of construction project for Shanghai SQ Vessel Nantong Co., Ltd which is located in Wuyao Town was put into operation on 6th July. City Leader Cai Zhong, Zhang
Yuanjian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuyao Town Zhao Hongxiang and president of SQ vessel company Steven Chen attended the ceremony together. Steven made detailed introduction for history of development, engineering construction situation and prospect of project development of SQ to all the leaders and guests.
The first-stage construction covers an area of 113300 square meters and owns full set of stainless steel mechanical processing equipment and inspection equipment with international advanced level like plasma automatic welding machine, automatic polisher etc., and will focus on production of good-sized sanitary vessels and march towards heavy industry. After the second-stage construction is finished at the end of this year, the estimated annual sales revenue is 400~500 million.
On the ceremony, Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection Cai Zhong made congratulation, required that Wuyao Town kept providing good, efficient and rapid service for the projects, supported the projects to be bigger and stronger, and hoped that SQ considered the first-stage project to be a new starting point to speed up the construction of second-stage project and increase core competitiveness continuously.
In the afternoon of that day, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Rugao Jiang Yonghua and other leaders in 4 committees of the city all came to Wuyao to survey and inspect the promoting situation of key work. Jiang Yonghua was very glad when hearing that it only takes more than half year from starting construction to production. At the same time, he encouraged SQ to fix position on a high level and become bigger and stronger. He also required that relevant departments in the down provided whole set of project service to ensure better developing environment for enterprise and realize takeoff of economy.
